SHANNON F. KAIN is an associate in the firm's appellate and insurance coverage divisions. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in finance and international business in 2001. Ms. Kain attended St. Thomas University School of Law as a Dean's Merit Scholar, and graduated cum laude. While in law school, Ms. Kain was a recipient of the Book Award in Appellate Advocacy and Advanced Legal Writing, and served as a Dean's Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Program and a Staff Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review. Ms. Kain also had the unique opportunity of securing a semester-long externship with Justice R. Fred Lewis of the Florida Supreme Court. In 2010, Ms. Kain was named as a "Rising Star" in the area of appellate practice by Florida Super Lawyers publication.
In addition to being admitted to the Florida Bar, Ms. Kain is currently admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
